So I was trollin' the interwebz at 3.47am this morning, as I usually do during my "study breaks", in between my Simming and watching reruns of Party of Five on youtube, and I come across a Glee spoiler forum. As I cannot resist spoilers, I went on in.. got my gleek on.. chatted to some fans.
ANYWAY.
OMFGDWKFHRHRG!KH!HJ!THGJWRG5.
No. This is NOT about the Prom King and Queen. I think the fact that "KA + KU" (as tweeted by that extra who later got fired) beat out Finn and Quinn is stupid and unrealistic. So = avoid.
This is about :
"A major, much loved character death"
(I will avoid the "end of a relationship" spoiler, as guess what? I don't care. Finns a slut, deal with it Rachel, or be dtf. Your choice there.)
Deaths are confirmed for the episode "funeral". (Seriously, LOST had names like "All the Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues" "Some Like It Hoth" and "Ab Aeterno" and Glee comes up with "Funeral". They probably wanted something as gripping as "Wheels" and "Home"..)
I assume this "major, much loved character" will be slightly more major and loved that Pavorotti (even though that damn bird was Kurts friend and his/it's death was sad).
I went ahead and assumed :
a) Burt
BUT. Mike O'Malley confirmed appearing in AT LEAST six season three episodes, and considering all the time these guest stars are going to be taking up (OHAI ANNE HATHAWAY, KRISTEN CHENOWATCHANAME AND GWENYTH PALTROW? U IS GNA LET THA CAST HAVE SUM LINES THIS WEEK PLZ? NO? ) I doubt Kurt's dad will be getting much screen time if he's dead.
That lead me to :
b)Carole
Kurt grieves the loss of Mommy #2, would adiquately explain the lack of Kurt after "Furt" this season, they cut his storyline now because he would be getting more screen time after her death. Oh yes, and Finn. He child. (Kurt ALWAYS come first) It would explain why Rachel is totes rashin' up the funeral, tryin' ta get all up on Finn. She'd swoop right on in there.. offer some comfort.. that gumbus Finn would be back with her. This would ALSO confirm the "end of a relationship spoiler" = Finn/Quinn.
c)Sue's Sister, Jean
A popular choice among fans.. maybe because she has down syndrome and is old? Idk. But is she "much loved" and why would the Glee club be at the funeral/care?
d) Shuester
Oh, one can only hope
My prediction: Carole. Carole. Carole. According to imdb (which is about as reliable as crediting Wiki, does not list Romy (yes.. her name is Romy.. and YES.. we are on a first name basis) as appearing in "Funeral" or any episode later than "Superbowl Shuffle" (long name, cbf typing). BUT, it lists Mike O'Malley as appearing in several episodes after "Night of Neglect" including "Funeral" hmmm.....
So that's the end of my rant.
One last thing.
They CAN kill Trouty-mouth. But that is IT as far as the Glee clubbers go.
RANT PART TWO. More of deaths of "MUCH LOVED CHARACTERS"
See, Glee is gonna got the same way as my beloved Criminal Minds. First they kill J.J.. the Prentiss (yes I am aware they are not 'dead', but they are dead off the show and off my TV - or my computer screen - so they are dead), then they loose ratings and bring in 'replacement' stock characters, or characters that are EXACTLY like the ones they JUST FREAKIN' KILLED OFF (Prentiss/Seaver anyone?) and then we all sit back and worry about the loveable nerd that may possibly be in danger. Cough, Reid, Kurt, COUGH.
Rant officially over.
